3M Perforated Trim Masking Tape, 10 mm Hard Band, 2 in x 10.94 yd, Blue, 1 Roll, 06349

3M Perforated Trim Masking Tape 06349 is made for masking around trim and moldings without removing them. A rigid 10 mm band along one edge slips behind the molding and lifts it slightly from the body, so paint can flow underneath while the molding face stays masked. It is a time-saver for collision shops, custom painters and restorers doing panel refinishing.

Features

• Rigid 10 mm hard band slips gently behind moldings and lifts them slightly
• Lets paint flow beneath the molding while masking its exterior
• Helps avoid removing and replacing moldings
• Helps avoid rework for visible paint lines
• Perforations allow tearing by hand, no knife needed

Typical uses

• Masking body side moldings and trim during refinishing
• Painting panels with moldings left in place
• Collision repair and blending work around trim
