Description
High Teck 7501-1 is a black, 2.1 VOC high build epoxy primer from the 7500 Series. It is a true 1:1 primer built for adhesion and corrosion resistance on properly prepared bare steel, aluminum and OEM finishes, for collision shops, restorers and custom painters.
Features
- True 1:1 mix with 7503 Epoxy Catalyst (sold separately)
- Works as a high build primer at 10% reduction or as a sealer at 25% reduction
- Adheres to sanded and cleaned surfaces including galvanized steel, aluminum and OEM finishes, with no acid etch primer needed
- Formulated for maximum corrosion resistance
- High solids (45% by weight), tintable, sands easily
- Dries to a true flat finish
- 30 minute flash between coats, 60 minutes to topcoat, 36 hour maximum open time

- Priming bare steel and aluminum panels
- Priming over sanded OEM finishes
- Sealing before topcoat when reduced 25%
